For most households, professional mattress cleaning every six to twelve months keeps things fresh and hygienic. If you have allergies, pets, young children, or anyone in the home prone to overnight spills, a more frequent schedule helps. Regular maintenance between professional cleans, like vacuuming and airing the mattress, also extends how long it stays clean and comfortable in Mandurah’s humid climate.
Most mattresses are touch-dry within a few hours, though full drying can take longer in cooler or more humid conditions. Our extraction process draws out most of the moisture, so we avoid leaving the mattress overly wet. We recommend giving it a few hours with good airflow before making the bed, and we’ll share simple aftercare tips to speed up drying.
Our carpet mattress cleaning lifts most stains and odours, especially sweat marks, body oils, and general grime. However, very old, set-in stains or deep discolouration may not fully disappear, as some marks permanently alter the fabric. During the initial assessment we’ll set honest expectations about what your particular mattress can achieve, so you know what to look for before we begin.
Yes, given how much time you spend on it. Professional cleaning removes dust mites, allergens, sweat, and oils that household vacuuming can’t reach, creating a healthier sleep surface. It also helps protect the padding and fibres from gradual breakdown, extending the mattress lifespan. For many homes, a fresher, longer-lasting mattress makes regular cleaning a sensible, cost-effective choice.
We can clean most common mattress types, including innerspring, memory foam, and pillow-top styles. The treatments and amount of moisture we use are adjusted to suit the fabric and construction, so foam and delicate materials are cleaned more gently. During assessment we check the mattress and confirm the safest approach. If you’re unsure about yours, feel free to contact us to discuss it first.
Just strip the bedding and clear the area around the bed so our technicians have room to work. If there are particular stains or odour spots you want us to focus on, point them out so we can pre-treat them properly. We bring our own specialist equipment, so there’s nothing else to prepare. Good airflow in the room afterwards helps the mattress dry faster once we’re done.
The final price depends on the size of the mattress, the extent of soiling and staining present, and the level of treatment required to address specific issues such as dust mites or odours. Larger mattresses naturally require more time and resources, whilst heavily soiled mattresses may need additional cleaning passes or specialised treatments to achieve satisfactory results. We assess the job and provide a written quote before any work is booked.
